What’s New for the 2024 Lexus ES?
The luxurious Lexus ES sedan boasts top-quality features, superior engineering, and an engaging style, making it a leading option for many local car shoppers. For 2024, this midsize sedan continues to be a part of the model’s seventh generation, bringing several mid-generation updates online for you to enjoy. In 2023, there was one F Sport trim level. This is broken into the F Sport Design and the F Sport Handling. The F Sport Design is offered with your choice of three powertrains unchanged from the previous model year. The F Sport Handling is only offered with the ES 350 and the ES 300h. It also has a Sport+ drive mode, a Custom drive mode, aluminum pedals, adaptive dampers, and park assist.
The ES 250 has one of the three powertrains, a 203-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. The ES 350 comes with a 3.5-liter, V6, 302-horsepower engine. The ES 300h has a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder hybrid system that produces 215 horsepower. The gas engines have an eight-speed auto transmission, while the hybrid system has a CVT.
On the exterior, the 2024 Lexus ES Luxury and Ultra Luxury trims now come with 18-inch Vapor Chrome alloy wheels and the new technology package. Otherwise, the exterior of the ES is unchanged on the exterior. It boasts crisp, athletic styling with an angled rocker panel on the sides and a sharply accented front end. The arrow-like LED bars and the expressively angled air vents trend inward to highlight the grille’s shape.
Other than the new features already mentioned, the features available in the 2024 ES have stayed the same. The features offered for some or all trims are a head-up display, a 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, a surround-view monitor, a 12.3-inch infotainment system screen, ambient lights, leather upholstery, wood trim, a voice assistant, a hands-free trunk, a navigation system, a digital instrument panel, a heated steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, and other premium features.
